Friends will be friends (1)

About 30 years ago. I was a graduate student and taught English and math to children on weekends and during the summer vacation. One of my colleagues there, a university student,  was the so-called “creator.” He actually had such an atmosphere. I thought I wanted to be such a cool guy, looking at him with adoration.

A little over a year ago, while I searched for work-related information on the web, I found him as a panelist for startup-related events. Then, I noticed that he had won several awards in international competitions. In addition, he was a big success as a director of a movie I know in Japan.

I wasn’t that close when I was working with him, and I was shyer than I looked, so I didn’t even talk to him. However, I sent an email to the contact point of his company simply because I wanted to send a word of ale. He has the charm to make me take such an action.
